The Montreal Chinese Pentecostal Church (MCPC) is the second Chinese Protestant church founded in Montreal in 1968. It is in its many years of serving the Chinese community of Montreal and stands in the mainstream of historical Christianity. It takes the Bible as its all sufficient source of faith and practice, and subscribes to the historic creeds of the universal church. In common with historical, evangelical Christianity, it emphasizes Jesus Christ as Savior.

70% of MCPC members are under 30 years of age with almost a 50/50 Chinese and English distribution. The English-speaking local born and the Chinese-speaking Christians are able to worship together in harmony. As a result, parents and children worship together in the same sanctuary and yet feel at home. Most other Montreal Chinese churches separate the English and Chinese services. MCPC’s contemporary worship style allows modern men and women to express their worship to God personally and intimately.

MCPC positions itself as a lighthouse to the Chinese community; it is a place where someone can go and find peace with God and himself/herself. It is a place you can go to find others with similar experiences and with the same background. So whether you live in the Montreal area or you’re just visiting, come join with us in worship and fellowship.
